You should see the looks you get in this thing when you ride around in it.
Bright green with octopus- how can you not love that?
I am trying to get them to add a seat on the top of it so I can just strap in and roll around… or maybe a surfboard… or a contraption so that I can parasail behind it… oh man. My mind is just buzzing now.
So at Fiestae Hermosa, myself and the rest of the 8th Continent gang decided to put our soy milk to the test up against the big bad boogie man I like to call Silk.
We did taste tests so that the people testing it out wouldn’t know which product was which and asked them one question:
First day in LA and I get to go meet the Stremick’s Heritage Food gang. 8th Continent Soy Milk Makers!!! Very excited. Nice hotel, nice scenery and awesome people… LOVING IT.
Here I am in LALA LAND.
Or better known as L.A.
LA has been amazing. If you know anything about me, you know I travel a lot… but I usually spend the night in my little Nissan or in a park on a bench, or “camp” which means in a park on a bench with a blanket usually.
But I do this with others or else it is just not safe.
This time I am in a hotel, they leave shampoo and stuff in the bathroom.
They make my bed every afternoon.
I mean EVERY afternoon.
I try to leave the “Do not disturb” sign on the door so they won’t make my bed because it doesn’t really need to be made, I’m just going to go to sleep in it again that night which usually starts with making a snow angel like movement on the mattress.
And I won’t lie- I like the tuck.
You know… the tuck.
Where you pull the blankets up and tuck it under your legs so you are like a burrito. First tuck the legs, then the sides and you are wrapped in a cloud of perfectly bleached white lavender scented sheets and comforter.
Have you tried to do the tuck after a hotel person has made the bed?
It’s like pulling yourself out of quick sand, or I imagine it is.
I like loose sheets.
The tossing and turning before sleep is half of the fun anyways, and then you initiate the tuck yourself as if you have decided:
“OK, seriously now… it really is time to sleep.”
I don’t want to get into a bed and have it be so made that I feel there is a nun around the corner with a ruler all prepared to strike my wrist if I make a peep because it is lights out.
No thank you!
I am a self-tucker.
That’s it- I’ve decided… I’m filling out a comment card.
