8th Continent Soymilk Taste of Life Tour- UC Berkeley

UC Berkeley was my second college stop and it was phenomenal!

Picture this- students, who care, in a beautiful setting, in California where the main inspiration is art, community and creativity.

I sat and listened to some travelers strum on their guitars, chatted with some awesome chicks about films and got to eat some amazing vegetarian friendly food at the Bear’s Den Food Court. I noticed there was an extremely different reaction to the coupons I was handing out. Instead of “No.” I got: “Thank you so much! I love soy milk, and have never tried this kind, but I will let you know how I like it! Good luck on your tour!”

The acceptance and open-mindedness was apparent at every stop I made in Berkeley. At the Bear’s Den, two ladies came up and asked me where I ordered my nachos because of how awesome they looked. It all depends on what part of the country you go to college, but from my experience, typically students keep to themselves, and at UC Berkeley this was not the case!

Good laughs, good times, great scenery, and all-around good vibes!
