One things is clear. The art and creativity must not be stopped. Otherwise, how do you want the children to grow and realize the things we did? We have to let them to be free and do whatever they want! I just applied for an art education school and in the future I'm planning to tell everyone about this. I love art and creativity and we can't just let these talents escape from us that easily!

Great post! My mother-in-law (former teacher and accomplished musician / artist) has always pushed for maintaining art programs throughout our school district. It's importance is un-matched! I could see the benefits of exposure to art in both my kids (boy and girl twins now age 12) back when they were toddlers.

Thanks
Dred242
www.BokehImage.com

PS: My son drew a sun using the tools on the 8th Continent Soymilk site - it looks like Chuckie from the old RugRats cartoon....ha ha. Hopefully my daughter will crank out one today. At last count my submitted sun drawing was up to 29 votes.
