If you have been following around with my adventures for a while- you probably remember me stopping by the San Diego Film Festival in 2009 while I was on my 8th Continent Soymilk Taste of Life Tour. There I not only saw amazing films, but I also met Wyland who does those amazing whale and sea life murals, and Craig Slike. (aka the Mole) Needless to say, I had an absolute blast and was amazed by all of the phenomenal and artsy shorts and films I got to see.
In three days starts the Los Angeles Film Festival which is going to be huge with more than typically 80,000 people in attendance and over 200 features, shorts, and music videos from more than 40 countries.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to go this year, but all of you Movie Buffs out there who are able to most certainly should! There are several different types of passes available for sale including the Festival 5-Pack that allows you to attend 4 different screenings of your choice and a one-day pass to the Zone Perfect live Create Lounge.
Go here to see all of the different pass options.
The features will be shown in over 10 different venues in downtown LA and there will also be food and attractions outside- including some outside screenings.
Also make sure to keep an eye out for the 8th Continent Soymilk team! They will be going around with coolers and on the 8th Continent tricycle passing out ice cold 8th Continent Soymilk and coupons to make sure the festivities keep going!
Go here to check out the different films you can view at the Festival.
Let me know which films you liked and describe them for me so I can live vicariously through you on my Facebook or on my Twitter!
